It’s all too easy to find conflicting theories and information in the health and wellness sphere. It’s all about knowing where to look. Here are a few newsletters that we personally subscribe to and think are worth your time.
Every week Dr. Hyman walks you through his picks of the week. Not only does he share recipes and supplements that pique his interest but he shares the articles he has read that week. This newsletter is a great way to round out your sources and expand your wellness avenues. It’s a thoughtful and personally written piece that delivers reliable and trustworthy information.
Dr. Jill shares a similar philosophy based on a concept we are fully behind: optimizing your health. We love the way she thinks as a fellow functional medicine provider. Her newsletter does a great job of answering the questions you didn’t know you had.
Our environmental toxin burden has never been greater and investigating the sources of these toxins can be overwhelming. EWG is a great resource to help filter out the noise. Their detailed consumer guides are a huge reason why we love this newsletter. They have great suggestions on everything from finding the right water filter to reducing your climate footprint.
We are so inspired by Dan Buettner and the Blue Zones. The Blue Zones are the five regions of the world that have a concentrated population of centenarians. These are the areas where people live the longest and Buettner’s book details the lifestyle choices and contributing factors to these abnormally long lives. Their newsletter delivers great information like recipes and lifestyle tips, vetted by the earth’s oldest and wisest members.
